I’ve always loved Tuesdays

I was born on a Tuesday. Tuesday November 22nd, 1988 at 10:14 AM, to be exact. A date composed of all double numbers, on the second day of the week (in my opinion, though I suppose there are others that have a different view). It always seemed significant.

Tuesdays are a ruled by Mars, making it a good day to have a little courage. I’ve been trying to launch this site (and my YouTube channel) for…kind of a while now. I often spend a lot of time working through research, and it often holds off the actual DOING, and that is something I want to cut out in 2023, less than a week away. It can be a challenge to work around my mounting list of hobbies, my ADHD, my chores and prior obligations. It will probably be harder with the 3 classes I’m going to be taking next semester (2 college courses and 1 workshop/seminar thing), while also trying to learn Russian (to speak to my partner’s family), but here I am. Doing it anyway

Have I ever been successful at maintaining a blog? Absolutely not. Am I gonna try to do it anyway? You bet!

I am an excessive planner, a person almost always in my head, forming myriad ways to move forward, but I rarely take the action my thoughts require. So I don’t really know whole cloth what this blog is going to be like because I have ideas and inspirations and aspirations galore. The purpose of this blog is the publishing of book reviews, and providing proof that I am the librarian that people want on their team, but I want it to be more than just that. The future of this blog will likely see more personal musings, insights into my bookish life, thoughts on librarianship, etc., but for now, I just figured it is as good a time as any to just GET STARTED. And so here I am. Getting started.
